    UraSure is a patented point of care diagnostic platform designed to integrate urine specimen collection and testing into a single, controlled workflow.  Traditional urine testing often involves multiple collection devices, transfers, and handling steps that introduce variability and increase burden on workers. UraSure addresses this challenge by preserving the integrity of the specimen at the moment of collection and supporting downstream testing without the need for additional handling. The platform is designed for use across a wide range of environments, including clinical care, occupational health, corrections, and educational settings, where staffing levels, time pressure, and resource availability can vary significantly. By simplifying the process, UraSure aims to reduce repeat testing, minimize errors related to specimen handling, and support more consistent diagnostic outcomes. Development of the product is being pursued through a strategic licensing and collaboration model, with an emphasis on regulatory alignment, manufacturing scalability, and integration into existing diagnostic workflows. The goal is to deliver a practical, worker-centered innovation that improves efficiency while maintaining high standards of clinical reliability. UraSure has the potential to reduce specimen handling steps by over 50%, decreasing exposure risk and workflow time for frontline workers while improving test reliability.
